Default Yoopers when did you or are you going to tap? How many gallons of sap per tap so far.

Fellow Yoopers, when did you tap or when do you plan to tap? If you tapped already how many gallons of sap per tap have you collected so far?

We will be tapping early this next week . Looks like the run should start next Wed. or Thurs. Let's just hope the sugar content is a little higher than last year.

Jeff 50 did you check the sugar content of the sap?

Wood Loader we do not have the stuff to check sugar content. We slowly add to are little set up every year, my wife and I just do it for are personal use.
She stayed home to boil today, We hope to do at least the same as last year, made 17 1/2 gallons and just opened the last quart, we drink it in are chaga tea. Added another run of 3/16 with 30 taps, so we have 86 out this year, 36 more then last year. Should have it all done tomorrow, see how many gallons out of the 220 gallons we get.

Were still frozen here. With the forecast looks like well remain frozen until next weekend. I'll put our taps in on Wednesday and Thursday.
