Made another 9 gallons tonight put of 650 gallons of 1.2%,
Had a pretty good scare at the First Draw about 15 minutes into my boil, about the whole syrup pan was syrup and I had a hell of a time getting the syrup in the first channel to make it's way to the Draw off point.I was drawing off 5 points heavy, I can't believe that it didnt burn on, I disconnected the float box and let it fly in. That the closest call I've ever had. Of course there had to be 10 people there watching me sweat lol. I think I have 2 weeks left looking at the weather.
