    Default Sap prices in Maine

    Can anyone tell me what the going price is for non ro sap in maine this year? And is there a formula for a sliding scale based on sugar content? Thanks, Lee

    We don't deal in it but knowing some guys that do and are always somewhere around $0.40/lb delivered for 2% sap. Most I know do scale it based on the average 2% sap.

    There are good sap price charts in maple digest that use formula. This is what I sell by.
    2008---35 buckets--3 gal syrup
    2015---150 on 3/16 gravity&50 Buckets
    2016---350+/- on 3/16
    2017---700+ on 3/16
    2018---700+ on 3/16 added 500gal milk tank
