    Default Finally started my seasonin Wallingford...

    Finally started tapping a few days ago(hopefully not to late!). It took me quite a while to get set up my new CDL 18"x48" Evaporator but last night I fired it up! I posted a couple of pics & videos...So much fun!! Have to figure out posting my videos! LOL Jim New Shack.jpgSnow Shack.jpg

    hopefully we get back into some normal weather, I got a late start as well, need some more sap!
    2016 - 36 Taps - File Cabinet Arch + Food Pans
    2017 - 2.5'x10' drop flues - 3/16 Natural Vacuum - 122 Taps
    2018 - 16x20 Sugar Shack - 3/16 Natural Vacuum - 235 Taps

    I wouldn't worry about it. I started late as well but next week and beyond look closer to normal:

    Every year I keep saying I'll be read for taping in January so I'll have the taps in before the first runs but every year I'll wind up tapping in mid February.
