    And I was wanting some sap,,,,, buddy,,, ropy anything to put in pans to clean them. Fermenting sap I have found that cleans even the "lime scale" off the sides of pans,,,, just like new,
    2012 200 taps on buckets,,, Built me a 2' X 11' arch,,, hope to put most on tubing next year.

    2011 100 taps on buckets, 30x 60 flat pan

    Goggleeye sounds like you had a terrible year as well. Very disappointing to see you had so little syrup. As I mentoined in another post I was thinning out some of the smaller Sugar maple trees I have today and they were gushing sap. I am not going to tap trees on that bluff as early next year. I did get 6 bottles of Walnut syrup. I am anxious to try it on some waffles.
