Anyone tapped in delaware county

I tapped my trees Jan 16, first two weeks I had a good run, 60 taps on drop lines about 70gals of sap, now most of my jugs where dry or very little sap since then Are my tap holes closing up or its just the weather I only get a chance to go to my property on the weekends any advise would help thanks

I would say it's the weather, it been cold and snowy in Deposit the past week. Your tubing should last up to 6 weeks before healing themselves.

I got 30 (18 on tubing and 12 buckets) in last night with another 60 buckets to go tonight. Looks like some good weather for some runs the next week or so.

Got the rest of my buckets up Saturday morning for a total of 87 buckets and 18 on tubing. Good run yesterday afternoon. Temps look good until mid week and then good again this weekend.

Got about 60gals of sap this weekend the taps where still dripping last night after collecting made about a gallon of syrup, alittle cloudy, iam thinking it was the new filters I used still taste great it looks like we will have another good run

Boiled down 70 gallons last night after work. Everything was still running yesterday and temps got below freezing last night. Going to boil again Friday night.

What a difference two years make. Here is a picture from two years ago to the day!! Today is 68F.

Anyone else still getting good sap? I collected about 65 gallons of crystal clear sap last night. Looks like the next couple of days will be good.
