Wife and I started processing the syrup. Look we will end up with about 10 gallon. Getting warm here this week. Probably pull and sanitize the buckets and leave the taps in to see what happens friday. Hopefully the buds won't beat the cold weather coming in.
we got a surprising 25ish gallon yesterday from 50 taps, some slightly colored but relatively clear but will likely rinse buckets today/tomorrow and see what happens this weekend and hope the second half of the 14 day forecasts cools considerably!
Good luck walked through the woods this afternoon and drained all the old sap from the lines. In the 20's tonight. Hopefully have a run tomorrow. No buds I can see yet.if I get any I'll boil some off on the grill and see what it like.
