You having any luck out there on your Reds? checking around this morning seems as though there is a lull in the action....

I was away for a few days so I finished tapping just now. I have about 250 buckets and all the reds are producing at least a drip every second. Picked up new half pint supreme with extension at Bascoms this past week. I don't have time to brick it so I'm just going to use the pan on my old half pint for now to increase the boil rate to 8+ gph. I want to talk to foursapsyrup1 about rebuilding the suga shack after this season to accommodate a cupola and the bigger half pint. How are you all doing so far?
2019 100+ on tubing rest on buckets
2018 225 taps of mostly reds on buckets

Got my guzzler going today on mostly red maples. Despite the warm up it is pulling but only at a trickle. I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised tomorrow morning.

Congrats on the new pans. Had our second boil yesterday and will be boiling again today. Syrup is light amber, much nicer than last year
We'd be glad to help you with your rebuild.

It was an honor to have you visit the Fivesaps Sugar House yesterday. Always good to meet folks with similar interests.
Best of luck with your new sugar house. Hope to pay you a visit sometime.
