    Smile Tapped today

    I tapped 6 large sugar Maples today. 2 of them started running sap before I got the drill bit out. I work at a Nature Center and have to tap early due to the field trips starting. Will put more taps out next week. We are all pails no lines. Good Luck to everyone this season,

    I put in 25 taps yesterday morning. They started running immediately and then froze up around 6:30 pm. Ended up with around 4 gallons of sap. I'm hoping for a big run today and tomorrow with the high temps. Have a great season!
