Ha! Does that evap/pan setup look familiar Ken? They have worked out great for us! Thanks again!

Have you tapped yet? I should have tapped yesterday and now I have to go out of town for a few days. Might miss the first run...

I've only made sugar once on accident. My first year. It was the coolest thing ever. I poured what I thought would be syrup into a mason jar and as soon as it hit the glass it turned into sugar. Science.

I truly enjoyed your videos. I will have to admit the main thing that we learned was the loosening of the rope to fit the tubing through. I don't know if that was an original idea but hadn't seen it anywhere else. Thank you......

Thanks woodey24. That rope idea was not mine. I probably read about it on this forum. I have very few original ideas!

Finally tapped most of my trees today. Sap was flowing pretty good here north of Grand Rapids. Here's a vid I took of the process:

We were finally able to get out and boil today. Is anyone else worried about their sap spoiling due to the temps? Any ideas how to keep it cool for the next week?
