Looks like tree really grew this year could be a good sap year

when around and painted 6 years worth of tap holes today. Most all of the tap holes were completely closed.
some of the trees were really hard to find tap hole. The trees grew so much that the bark opened and saw lots of light tan bark in the groves. Lots of movement in the bark cover some holes. bark look a lot different years after thinning so more sun
