With a 10" hole for the pipe, that gives me approximately 14" from the purloin to the pipe. I don't want to burn down my building, but if I don't have to spend a small fortune on double wall 10" pipe that would be fine by me as well. Will I be OK with regular 10" pipe? Then I could use the Menards roof jack. This is the one I found. https://www.ventingpipe.com/metalbes...-roof/p1069713
I don't know if it's better or just more expensive.
Where did you get your roof jack and pipe, Mark?
    Thanks for the input everyone!
I think I bought this aluminum roof jack for $50.00:

Darn, I wish I had 8". Trickier to find 10" stuff and more costly too.

Thanks for these leads! I just bought a 2x4 Leader set up. Ran my 10" pipe straight up. I cried to see they wanted like $400.00 for a "good" flashing. I ended up going to Menards and getting one as mentioned above. (Thanks You tons for that idea) The tag said its 8", which is the 3wall size, My stack fits good in it. Got my fire brick done last weekend, and this VERY much a rookie will be firing his first fire this weekend. Please Pray for me!

With the stove pipe flip cap/lid.. where do you route your wire/rope to operate the cap?
