    Default hose clamps or pex clamps

    anybody using pex clamps on mainline fittings would be cheaper

    They might work

    I guess would need to measure the OD of the pipe

    Id be concerned with the ability to snug them up, or take apart for repairs

    I have used the pinch style ones. Not made for pex but made for poly pipe. Have not seen leaks but that are a hassle to remove. You can twist the pinch part with pliers to loosen them.

    i have been trying to find clamping pressure difference. sick of stripping hose clamps. we used some pinch style 10-15 years ago some are still in use but removed some that i thought leaked. i think i will try some again as tough to remove they aught to work. thanks for input !!
