Default Cotton Candy Gold Medal Floss Max Maple

Has anyone purchased the maple specific 3077 machine? And how do you like it? I'm thinking about upgrading from my current small machine.

That's all we use at the nys fair, erie county fair, and wyoming county fair. I have never used another model so I can't compare. If you maintain it will run a long time.

We purchased one the first of March. Use to rent standard type world of difference produces better quality and faster. Worth the investment.

You have to cut it with white cane sugar at 5:1 ,tried maple sugar alone and it just burned and made a smokey mess.I use my wife's bullet? or similar machine to mix and grind the sugars, then you won't have any crystals of sugar in your floss, and the machine will clean up much easier

I have gone 1:1. It will work on a dry day. Usually I go 2:1. I keep hearing you have to go 5:1. But in my opinion cotton candy does not have much maple flavor if 5:1. I also use darker syrup to make my sugar for cotton candy. More color. More flavor. Much "maple" cotton candy I see looks white.

I'd like to try your Maple Cotton candy Wiam, I have to say most of what I have had has been disappointing at best. It's not something I would want to sell to people.

Do you make the candy ahead of time say for a farmers market? When I was little, I worked for my friends parents and they would make it a day or two ahead and we would sell it during parades.

We try to make it the morning of an event at home. Does not settle much for a few days if sealed. I believe it would sell better if you run the machine at point of sale. Electricity is limited were we go. And generators are noisy.
