Sorta off the subject, but if I went with a large CFM blower on my evaporator, would it increase the gph rate significantly?? I never have anywhere close to flames coming out the top of the stack, just some sparks. It came from Leader, so I would guess it is the same blower that a 2x6 uses??

I know someone posted a link on here for Graingers or somewhere like that that had the same blower for $ 69 last year and would imagine they have larger.

    Brandon,

I just bought a 200 CFM blower from them part number 4C754 for my new 2x6. I don't have anything to compare it too, but I'll let you know if I need to throttle it back. I chose this one because it had good performance at higher pressure drops and ran slower so maybe a little quieter. It looks good, I'll be trying it out this weekend.

    Brandon,

Let me check the cfm on my 2 1/8 x 8 that I just got from Leader. I get no flame or sparks out the stack but I can get 1100 degree stack temp with no problem.

I agree that pallets burn very hot and give you the best evaporation rate. I burn them some times. If you look around you might find a business that would pay you to take the pallets because they have to pay to get rid of them. With my 3X12 I burn around 6 pallets per hour and evaporate 140GPH
