Vermont Rebates for First-Time RO Buyers

I wanted to let everyone know about Efficiency Vermont's Maple RO Rebate Program. For those existing Vermont sugar makers who are looking to install an RO for the first time, $1,000 to $3,250 in rebates are available for those who have at least 400 taps or produced 100 gallons or more of syrup during a recent season. Hey Sean,

I'm sorry to say that our program is limited to Vermont sugarmakers who are purchasing an RO for the first time. I would encourage you to reach out to the folks at the USDA-RD Rural Energy for America Program (REAP). They have a bit more flexibility in the types of projects that they can help fund--including upgrades to larger ROs. I believe their next application deadline is May 2nd.
