    Default Time to tap?

Weather forecast looks pretty good for this week. I do buckets, usually 30-50. Is now a good time or should I wait a bit longer?

I just tapped yesterday, was going to wait a bit longer due to the cloudy week ahead, but this is the latest i've ever tapped.

Wondering the same here in Merrimack. The forecast is looking like warm days and cool nights this coming week. For the last three years, I have tapped the last week of February or the first week of March.

Go for it! I'm half tapped in, and going all-in this weekend. Good luck.

I waited thru the first few warm spells this year but after looking at the forecast and considering the sun angle / time of year, I went for it and tapped in today. Every tree I tapped was gushing as the drill pulled out, and ran strong all day - even the 3 or 4 reds I tapped. Looks like first boil will be tomorrow aftn. And so it begins...
