    Default cleaning stainless

A neighbor of mine has a 1200 gallon stainless trailer tank that I can pretty much have. The only problem is that he hauled liquid fertilizer for corn in it. Does anyone have any information as if it is actually possible to clean the tank? I figure I would replace any valves or fittings just to be sure.

Go to a milk plant and ask them how to do it. They clean their's everyday, and bigger tanks also.

I'd pressure wash it, scrub it with bulk tank cleaner, pressure wash it again, and rinse well with hot water. If there's anything left, your nose and taste buds will tell you.

I doubt you should need to replace any valves. Stainless doesn't take up chemicals like plastic does. Use a bottle brush to clean the outlet pipe, and maybe change the seal or O ring on the valve.
