Actually, didn't mess with the pump at all today. Got to the woods at 9 and sap already running, so didn't want to shut the vac down. Also, it was pulling 23.5" when I got there, so why mess with it?? Good enough for now. Got the last big mainline done and online by 3:30. Since it was a rush tapping job, I found I missed about 15 taps, but got the woods back to 23" before I called it a day. Have 600 gal in the tank heading into tonight's...going to mean a trip first thing in the morning to haul a load out. The good thing is we should have 12-1500 gal for the first boil of the season.
Sap was running OK considering how warm it was.
