Tapped in Lyndeboro 2/28/07
Well I'm finally tapped, We sweetened the pans the other night and are now waiting for the big run this weekend. I spent last night scrambling to put together a new control panel for my temperature controllers. I opened up my old panel and 6 mice came running out. They chewed up all the wiring and had a major nest. What a mess.
Sugar content 2.3% on 2/28/07.

light syrup
I just finished up a boiling. The syrup was nice and light with a good flavor,There was a lot of sugar sand. The sap was 2.2%

Must be warming up a littel more during the day down there? how many taps and how many gallons of sap?? Curious cause its just been weeping up here..

We boiled last night we had about 200 gallons of sap it looked nice and cloudy and we finished with grade B. No buds on the sugar maples yet, We are hoping for a couple of last runs this week with the weather forcast.
