Boiled 800 gallons this afternoon and made 8 gallons. Add that to yesterday's 5 gallons from 450 and it took almost 100 gallons of sap to make a gallon of syrup.
I did an oops yesterday and forgot to run 250 gallons through the RO and boil it. Did that today and made 4 more gallons to bring the ratio to 74 gallons of sap to make a gallon of syrup. Still not good but better than 100 to 1.
