I wish I had been ready to tap a couple of weeks ago but who would have thought that we would get the warm spell that we just had. I hurried to get tapped in this past weekend because next weekend looks like it is going to be the coldest weather of the winter so far. Next week it is supposed to warm up again and I don't want to miss that. I replaced a lateral mainline this winter but other than that everything else has just been repair work. The only thing I still had to do as of last week was get a new membrane for my RO. I got the membrane and installed it but still need to rinse it. Other than that I've only got a little cleaning up to do and I'm ready for sap.
