    Default Wayne County 2016

Started putting taps in yesterday afternoon and finished up this morning. 300 taps on 3/16 hauled 310 gallon to the house this evening hoping it keeps running tomorrow until the freeze up on Sunday. Looks like a nice deep freeze for a few days wiith more good weather coming the end of next week. Still some things to tweak and work out with the new upgrades but so far pretty good start.

250 gallons hauled in tonight. We were hoping for a little better flow but overcast and didn't get as warm as predicted. Slick, sloppy, snow, wet, muddy mess. Forecast looks promising end of week

Finally got to warm and shut the trees down only 50 gallons in the tanks tonight. Looks like we'll be draining the evap and giving it a good cleaning as it's supposed to get close to 70 here tomorrow crazy weather.

200 gallons yesterday 350 today.. Cleaned woods tanks tonight , it's just way to HOT 70 this afternoon and more of the same tomorrow. Not good at this point hoping taps can survive until the cool down next week. We will keep plugging away as long as we can! Good luck to all should be a great weekend for all the folks up north

All finished up here for this year pulling taps tomorrow and cleaning everything up. Way to hot and no sugar in the sap.
RO we built for this season was a huge saver as we never had good sugar or weather all season.
    Season totals:
    Sap hauled - 4,490 gallons
    Syrup - 51.85 gallons
    86.6 : 1 ratio for the season
    Good luck to everyone
