Default First taps in today - Central va.

Well I put in some test taps this evening. We have had 20 ish degree nights and 40ish days this week, although it's been too warm
so far this year. I was wondering if we were going to have ANY season. I'll report out on the progress! Happy Sugaring

26 gallons is impressive. I had about a gallon and boiled down three gallons I had frozen from last year.

I'm posting from central NC because you all are the closest to me. I'm new at this, put my first taps in yesterday at noon, it was 44 degrees, temp at 6:00 am today was 26, high should be about 47. I tapped two red maples and put two spiles in a big sycamore out back. I'll report back if I get flow.
