Default Big Changes for me this year Part 1

I hope everyone had a great holiday season and are getting psyched for this years sugaring season.

I was pretty quiet last season as I didn't get to do much because I was in the Middle East for work and missed the entire season. I had a goal to switch up what I had been doing and using and to expand my capabilities and I think I am going to be quite pleased this year.

1st) I Built a small "sugar shack" I had a deck that was 6.5x11 and decided to build a lean to sort of roof and walls on to it. I went to a local mill yard and got all rough cut wood and went to work.

2nd)I got a new rear 2x4 pan made for me up in Hebron Maine by Northwoods Stainless, guy did a great job!

3rd) I had a friend who is a welder and asked if he could help me repair my evaporator. I have a homemade setup with a barrel stove as the main part of it. I made up some drawings, got the steel and went to his house.
