Today was awesome. Slight overcast about 50 degrees out and pretty low air pressure. I couldn't believe how well it was running today

I just watched that vid, I have never seen a tree drip that fast, that was crazy; I was always thought a drip a second was dripping real fast because it will fill my sap sacks; but hat was unreal

Monday was my best day yet as well. But I wasn't really impressed either. 53 gallons from 81 taps on gravity (buckets). I still have about 3 trees that have given almost no sap. Is this is as good as it gets? I thought I'd be swamped yesterday since Sunday night it froze and Monday was 50*F. Should I prepare for the floodgates to open, or is this it? I had planned on at least one busy week of feeling like I can't keep up, but now I'm not so sure that will happen. On the bright side my sugar content is averaging 2.7%.

I am in Allegany co. We got 300 gal from 240 taps. Last night when we shut down at midnight, our little pumps were pulling a steady stream from 5/16 tubing. Never seen anything like it. Also made the first lite syrup ever. We have always had med to dark syrup here. Weird year for sure.
