Default First boil of the season!

First boil of the season is in the books. Made about 65 gallons. The new D&G 3000gph RO was processing 2600per with 37 degree sap concentrating to 13%. 5gpm of concentrate. Not to bad for a shake down run. Glad I upped the nozzle size in my Thunderbolt!! Waiting for the RO is a thing of the past.

Good luck to all on a great season.

13th boil was yesterday. Surpassed last year. Last year we boiled 21 times and made 2680 gallons. After last boil we're at 2900. Sap is still going strong, clean and clear. Good sugar. Lighted back up to Amber.
