I'm a big fan of reusing and repurposing useful stuff. Your shack is a fine example of that. It doesn't look anything like a traditional sugar shack but neither will mine.

Far better than out in the open or under a tent or tarp.
Dave Klish, I recently ordered a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
    After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.

I made a 12'x12' sugar shack out of pallets. Took about 24 pallets, plywood, clear plastic and some scrap wood. It took a weekend to construct and only cost about $85. A great, cheap way to put a roof over your head and protect you from the elements.

I cab build up to 200 sqft w/o a permit, have a surplus of pallets, and I'm tired of boiling outside. Great idea on the pallet shacks guys. I am pretty sure I'll have one next year as well.
