Default transfer pump what type of hose?

I bought a honda pump for moving sap from tank to tank. Is the collapsible pump hose sold at home depot safe to use with sap? If not what should I look for?

Just one guys opinion here, most transfer pumps say do not use collapsible hose on your intake to the pump. And the hose should probably be labeled for use in the food industry, or any written specs found would/should say so. Just as an example, Lowes (don't know about Home Depot) has clear poly braid hose, food safe, for 2.29 a foot for one inch inner diameter.
    take care, Mark

Great stuff and great company. Been using same hose for 13 years. They ship same day or next day.
