That moment you realize this years tubing is 12" higher than last years tap holes. Snowshoes are great.

Yes they are until You go to buckle your snow shoe and you brake the binding as I did this morning. I always questioned rather the plastic binding that GV snowshoes used could handle the cold and now I know the answer is NO!
110 taps W.F Mason 2x3 and two turkey friers for finishing

2011 expanding to a Mason 2x4 with a blower increasing taps to about 200
2011 Hurricane Irene rips thru my small sugar bush cost me to lose 20% of taps
2014 I have reworked my lines for 2014
32 taps on 5/16 line with check valves
57 taps on 3/16 line with check valves
55 buckets with total tapped trees of 144

This week I just repaired a set of Tubbs snowshoes, same issue. I looked far and wide before finding anyone who had the parts instock, finally I found them at: Jax Mercantile Co. I bought 3 sets so I'd have them the next time one broke. I ordered then last Sunday, arrived Wed. I got MSR snowshoe straps and riveted new ones on. I used 3/16 x 3/8" rivets.
Dave Klish, I recently ordered a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
    After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.
