    Default Tapped in Bellingham

Finally reset lines and tapped about a hundred yesterday ( very gently - everything still frozen). Snowshoes were definitely needed. Tough getting around.

Yup, it's tough out there. I tried to make my way out to the beehives to clean up a little yesterday but gave up and went back for the snowshoes. Even then it was tough going.

its not going to be easy getting the sap out of the woods thats for sure. we set up a pump from the woods tank to the head tank this year, we'll see how it goes. 500' of run, 40-50' of rise. but that only covers about 3/4 of our taps.
hoping we get a few good weeks of runs and the weather doesnt break to an early summer.
