    Cool Getting Startied in Clayton

About 40 taps in this weekend, 30 on tubing. Nice weather to be outdoors. We have one beehive and the girls are loving warm-up too!

    Hi John,
I thought about you last week when I drove through Clayton on the way south for work.

We put out 153 taps last Saturday, re-bricked the arch & pretty much got ready to go. Unfortunately we weren't able to collect Sunday or Monday, so we only got 200 gallons on Wednesday - a lot was left on the trees as ice. Now if the weather would just cooperate we might actually make some syrup.

So, you are the one to blame for these Arctic conditions.LOL
Looks like we are all shut down until this cold moves on through.
