At the risk of jinxing us, it looks like the mother of all sap runs this week in the North Country of NH
EDIT 1:04 PM. Just gathered the bucket from saturday & sunday's run and some of them were full, but averaged 0.75 GPT.
ALthough it only got down to 31 deg, most of the buckets were half ice. Might even get a run this afternoon before tonite's freeze.
Tough sledding though gathering buckets while postholing up to my thighs. Glad I only have 50 to gather.
