I've only made 16 gal so far, by this time last year I was about 250 gal. I've only boiled 2x, will boil down 375 gal tomorrow. Then it looks like a few days below freezing. It's not good yet. On a good day I get about 2000 gal, my best so far is the 375 I just got back from collecting. I only got sap from my smaller bush, the bigger one is still frozen, but only about 250' higher elevation and maybe 2 miles from the other
Dave Klish, I recently ordered a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
    After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.

There is still hope. Looked at the numbers last night after boiling. We're now at 20% of total expected production compared to 25% on this date last year. On the sap end we are only 300 gallons behind last year at this time. Actually had a decent run yesterday, despite the temps barely edging above freezing.
