    Default Not much today

With the prediction of a warm sunny day, Not here, sun was out for a couple of hours then clouds came in and a cool wind. Not much of a run today and looks like for the next three days nothing going to happen then maybe it looks as if things will change.

Unfortunately it seems that same paragraph is getting repeated every four days or so by someone or another. Of course, I'd love to be wrong.

I'm starting to get concerned we will be into bud sap without things really getting going. I'll be the first to admit I'm no expert. They are saying 60s at the end of this week

Hand tapper, not sure how far south you are in NH, we have a frost depth in the ground in central NH that we have not seen in a long time. I'm thinking this will probably keep the sap output slower then typical and the trees will be much slower to bud. Also, the long range forecast is calling for the same pattern through mid April. I've never made the bulk of my syrup in April but this may be the year I do!
