Twenty-nine bottles for your first batch of the season???!!!! WOW!

What are you going to do with all of the syrup you'll end up with? Are you going to start selling syrup this year to make back some of your inve$tment?

    Great job 5050. That's a beautiful haul.

Yes as I did last year, got to be careful the big man will want tax!! But I also give a lot a way for favors and thank yous,Christmas ,I'm bad at shopping.I really like giving it to friends that help doing other things on the farm, watching animals, baling hay etc. I sent it out all over to family, friends in the flat rate box,I get 2 8 oz bottles in there.

    Default Ratio

Just think if I had a better ratio here but that's what it is,I'm pretty accurate on the amount of sap as I use a 55 gal drum to collect.

It just got down to freezing at my place, will see and make everything ready for wind and rain so the buckets don't blow away rocks etc on lids!this was a little lighter than my first bottles back on the 2/23

Sorry 5050, but that batch looks spoiled. You'd better send it up here and I'll dispose of it for you. No need to thank me.
