    Got rte.11 plowed out and have started getting ready to tap there..going over the lines..breaking trail changing spiles....the skidder is supposed to be repaired tommrow or monday and the fellow im working with wants me to pull for "a few more days"
    .......but i got that "itch"

    If you're planning to make syrup this year you've got to get tapped in ASAP. I understand if you need to stay where the money is. You've been cutting some beautiful logs this winter. Good luck with whichever you choose.

    I think i can get rte11 tapped in 4 or 5 days..2 1/2 feet of snow tight to trees..im sure i will miss some..but..i will get all i can

    The legs are FEELING IT...looks like i have to go logging tommrow and get the job cleaned up and 2 loads finished...then should be full time sugaring for a while

    Got most of the repairs made, all but 100 spiles changed and about 450 tapped..nothing running yet...gotta get a bunch of stuff tommrow probabky in the afternoon so i have supplies for the weekend push.
    The honda (340gx?) Looks like it might be a challange to get running on the vacuum pump

    Well Parker you're getting a late start as usual and you'll probably be tapping in Hill when everyone else is pulling taps. This warm spell has brought the snow levels down so you should be able to get some taps in. Give it hell!
