12/12 pitch on the roof gives lots of storage. Swing down latter saves space and give storage upstairs. Kids love to be up there when we boil.

Thanks for posting - What size is your cupola? I also see you have lines up to the windows. I'm guessing that is to open and close the windows. Can you tell me how that works?

Its probably about 3x4'. The lines go to windows and are rigged with a large washer at a predetermined lenght so the windows do not open to far. I have them set so they open by using a push stick. The ropes have a counter weight to assist closing the windows. I found that if they opened to far, I could not pull them back closed.
