Slow moving sap it just didn't warm up enough cool wind. Tanks half full so we filled the pans if it runs over night we'll fire up in the am, Getting sick of waiting.

Yeah, the temp never materialized today. It was +5 around 9am, then dropped to 1 by lunch and didn't increase for the rest of the day. We probably collected 70-80 gals from 750 taps.

Slow going these days. The temp finally rose above zero yesterday after 2 blizzards and a hail storm that lasted for a solid 8 hrs. Luckly no damage for us.

Probably collected 80 gals yesterday. We had a good sap night and the temp was +2 this morning and rising so I hoping we might actually get a 'run' today. The sap is running a little better than it was last evening and it's only noon

Sap dribbled most of the day. +1 most of the day. Probably had 150 gals at 6pm. Sitting at plus 5 (warmest all day) right now, so I'm sure hoping I have 300 or 400 gal in the morning. To date, we've made 10 gals of syrup.

Pulled spiles on Sunday the 13th. Too warm now and no frost at night. A terrible season but the syrup I made sure tasted good. How's everyone else doing? I only had 3 runs of sap and they weren't all that great...

I'm hoping for a run tomorrow and Friday. I've been dumping nuisance sap all week. Hoping the sap isn't buddy. Certainly a year to forget.
