Default A little drip here and a little drip

Some open up a little but nothing to jump up and down about. Rain started around two this morning and off and on all day. Warm up with sun for the weekend and then back down for temps for next week. Checking long range in which you never know looks like nothing really until March 8th. I have this feeling its going to be a fast warm up and DONE, I hope not, but that is the way it is.

Yeah I have 14 taps out so far and got 2 gal yesterday and 5 gal from last night and today. Trees are waking up a bit. I hope this weekends warmth will give us some before the freeze

A couple forecasts had 40 plus for 3 days here. I was hoping for a little test sap and tapped 60 early yesterday. Nothing. I planned on tapping more today, but gave up, as it got up to just 34 today. Lost power for 2 hours, and the trees are still covered with ice at 6pm.
I will not tap for quite a while now I guess.
