Collected 25L from 17 taps today. Sap volume was all over the map. Some taps were producing between 2 and 3 litres, and others were just trickling. Three are still locked up tight. When everything thaws out completely it's going to be great!

Got my propane burners all set-up, complete with a new metal wind screen to maximize heat retention. Also purchased a 2 burner electric hot plate so that I can do my pre-heating outside instead of in the kitchen. I have a nifty little table for that. Now that it's all organized for the pending sugaring, maybe I'll just move into the garage for the next few weeks.
