    Default All tapped. Too early?

All tapped on 5/16 gravity tubing in Pelham. Looks good through Sunday. But was it too early?

Are the 28 gallons I dreww last weekend gonna be any good when I get the other 72 I need to sweeten my new pan? They're sitting in my holding tank during this cold spell.

Yeah they will still be good because it will be frozen solid, as long as the sap doesn't get warm before you boil it you will be good.

what about the taps I've put in? Will they start to close if it's two weeks w/o sap?

ive been all tapped in for 16 days, im using 346 leader CV spouts. now just waiting for the weather to get things on track enough to flip the switch for the vacuum pumps and let it begin. tapping early isn`t a bad thing on tubing, but buckets id wait its running good to put them out. good luck and hopefully the weather turns for the better soon
