passed our previous season best last night, with 647 gallons accounted for. more that half of that is from purchased sap, so we will see how the numbers settle out for our per-tap production. making borderline B/C, but still have good flavor. burned almost 7.5 tons of pellets so far. finished off the 6.5 tons on Sunday, then bought a ton of bagged pellets...glad we didn't have to dump bags in all season...

crew is tired but satisfied that we have been able to salvage the season. Couple more boils I suspect...might get over the 700 gal. mark if things go well...
