That looks like alot of work. Its neat to see the stainless in that old tank get used again. Keep up the good work and the pictures, I wish I did a better Job documenting things like you are.

DSCN0481.jpgDSCN0482.jpgDSCN0480.jpg Thanks Nate , paid 75$ for the tank shell instead of paying high dollar for sheets . Got rear part clamped on this mourning and made sure the leg castings fit good , and they do . the picture of the tool is a digital angle finder , which I found on a site for 26 $ , made it nice to get the angles right . 10 degree fire box - 17 degrees flue . And what made things nice is , in my location there happens to be nice little barn tucked away that just happens to have a rather large industrial brake in it . Take two people to work it and my old shop teacher from school is still alive , he was more than willing to give me a hand . next pictures will be a week or so , counted up all the holes I get to drill and put little bolts in before I take the other side apart . ordering the bolts and nuts today from ( Macmaster & Carr ) .

DSCN0483.jpg hardware , came today , was expecting them yesterday . I am using what is called a ( slotted truss head screw ) 1/4 -20 bolt - stainless . It is the same as they used years ago . There are 5/8 inch 1 inch and a few 1 1/2 inch . I have been able to date this arch to at least 60 years old anyway . When I got it , it came with old English tin pans , and the rear drop flue had red wooden handles on it , on them was ( Cooks - Deruyter ) today known as Deruyter country hardware .

Looking nice, keep up the good work.
Dave Klish, I recently ordered a 2x6 wood fired evaporator from A&A Sheet Metal which I will be converting to oil fired
Now have solar, 2x6 finish pan, 5 bank 7x7 filter press, large water jacketed bottler, and tankless water heater.
Recently bought another Gingerich RO, this one was a 125, but a second membrane was added thus is a 250, like I had.
    After running a 2x3, a 2x6, 3x8 tapping from 79 taps up to 1320 all woodfired, now I'm going to a 2x6 oil fired and a 200-425 taps.

DSCN0491.jpg DSCN0494.jpg finished drilling and bolting left side today and made first part of the ramp --- bent at 90 degrees to bolt to the sides . The floor will come next running full length bent at the top of arch down to angle iron and bolted to ash box , making the ramp double layered .
