    Real name is Mark.

We live half way between Howell and Fowlerville. In Howell township actually, but we have a Fowlerville mailing address.

We operate under the farm name of “Two Crows cottage”, as the wife and I are but a couple of old crows with a twisted sense of humor.

My 2nd year at making Maple Syrup here in Grawn Michigan. (Traverse City area) I will be making a new evaporator from a 24" X 30" stainless steel electrical panel I am getting from my employer. I just have to get a few holes welded closed and add a threaded pipe on the side of it to attach a draw off valve and I will be ready to build. We live on 20 acres and have plenty of mature maple trees to work with. I had 20 taps out last year and they kept me supplied with more than enough sap. I produced 1 gallon of finished syrup. I hope to double my production this year as many have asked for syrup.

Chuck from Newberry. Lots and lots and lots of snow. About 3' plus on the level. Glad I'm not in the snowbelt north of town. We'll probably be tapping in May the way this year is going.
