Good question Sam. I have often wondered why so many of our Michigan Members only give Michigan as there location. Almost like they are a little timid and don't want to sell or give away any of their precious Maple Syrup. If I don't give my location - no one bothers me. LOL - Hey! I'm Mike from Glennie, Michigan.

My 2nd year at making Maple Syrup here in Grawn Michigan. (Traverse City area) I will be making a new evaporator from a 24" X 30" stainless steel electrical panel I am getting from my employer. I just have to get a few holes welded closed and add a threaded pipe on the side of it to attach a draw off valve and I will be ready to build. We live on 20 acres and have plenty of mature maple trees to work with. I had 20 taps out last year and they kept me supplied with more than enough sap. I produced 1 gallon of finished syrup. I hope to double my production this year as many have asked for syrup.
