There are quite a few deer around here and you could kill 6 or 7 bucks in past years but they are gradually decreasing it and trying to encourage people to shoot larger bucks as in the past few years, you could kill either a buck or doe during rifle season and the saying was if it was brown it is down. The state has even implemented some antler restrictions in 3 or 4 small public hunting areas this year. Now it is down to 3 bucks total per year with combinations of different of archery, gun and muzzleloader.
