My almanac arrived in the mail today. If I had to guess, it looks like whoever did the layout/template for the first page of each state where they indicate taps, gallons produced and yield per tap copied the page from Connecticut, changed the heading to NH, and forgot to change the numbers.

The rest of the numbers in the NH report are what I had heard last summer, with 460,000 taps and production of 124,000 gallons.

What is crazy to look at for me is the NH historical data. If I am reading it right, it looks like in 1917 NH made 936,000 gallons of syrup. All with buckets....
