    Don-you can come up and help me. Think of it as a trial run for that second season. Don't worry about your shoulder, my wood won't care if u split it with one hand.

    110 gallons off 75 taps today. got up to 40 ttoday. gonna be a long night.

    Wow! Wish I had that problem. I'm still at 30-40 gallons on 150 taps. I added around 20 more last night, they were running good. Supposed to get 8-12" of snow tonight and tomorrow. Next week looks good, praying for a sap flood.

    Hey that's good to know fishman that it's been running some this past week. Tapped on 3/24 27 taps mid Dickinson County. Gathered and boiled on 4/1 60 gallons, 4/5 24 gallons and so far made 1 1/2+ gallons syrup. Hope my buckets are nice and full this weekend when I get back.

    2012: Probably 750 gravity taps and 50 buckets.

    600 gal stainless milk tank.
    2 - 100 gallon stock tanks
    one 30 gal barrel
    50 buckets

    3' x 10' Waterloo Raised Flue wood fired evaporator w/ open pans.

    12" x 20" Filter Canner

    Sawmill next to sugarhouse solves my sugarwood problem

    Gather with GMC 3500 2wd Pickup w/ 425 gallon Plastic Tank.

    Been tapping here in Lyman NH since 1989 but I've been sugaring since 8 years old in 1968.

    've gotten yet gallons sap and made 12 gallons with 100 gallons to boil yet. Can't complain compared to negaunee area. You can keep all that snow your way tonight.

    Make that 565 gallons. Phone has little things I'm not used to yet.

    Thanks, for my measly 27 taps it works. Would like to move up to a real evaporator with flues someday there are 600+ tappable trees but that would mean more time, wood, sugarhouse ...
