    Default Sugarmaker Sayings...

There are many "sayings" that sugarmakers have, or things that can be said about sugarmakers. For example:

"The only thing a sugarmaker likes more than boiling is talking about boiling!"

    and

"Sugarmakers... they can't wait for sugaring season to start, and they can't wait for it to end!"

I whole-heartedly agree with both of them. Are there any other good sayings out there? It would be nice to have a list condensed to a single thread.

Just thought of a few more...

    "There's always next year..."

    and

    "I'm expanding for next year."

New one I heard this year: It's not if you'll burn your pan, it's when!

That reminds me of another one:

"There's two kinds of sugarmakers out there--- Those who have burnt a pan, and liars!"

    There's really only two sayings

    1) I wish this *%&@* weather would warm up.

    2) I wish this *%&@* weather would cool down.
